NESTAC engage and train disadvantaged young people living in the most disadvantaged areas in Greater Manchester to develop cross-cultural skills relating to equality and diversity, heritage and cultural values, human rights, and social cohesion.
BAME young people in the region are empowered to promote positive cross-cultural values and speak out against social exclusion, stigmatisation, and prejudice.
They work alongside the Youth Programme Team to transform their ideas into activities that aim to tackle cross-cultural issues they might experience in the society and raise awareness in the wider community.
Youth Peer Mentors promote equality and diversity during events and conferences across Greater Manchester and beyond.
